November Wrap Up

November was a pretty uneventful reading month for me. However, in terms of life, I graduated from University on the 2nd (we have quite a late graduation at my Uni) and then had 2 exams towards the end of the month. This hindered how much I read…or so I thought. It wasn’t quite as good as October, but hey. 8 books was a really stretch for me. 6 is a little more like my usual reading month.

Reading total: 6         Books this year: 56

I’m still edging closer and closer to the 60 mark. I’m really hoping to get to it and go over it and potentially reach 65 books read this year. This is already my best reading year yet, so let’s go for it!

Side note: I haven’t been blogging as much/at all recently because I started a new job at the beginning of October and have had exams that I need to pass. So that has taken up the majority of my time and unfortunately, my exams come first!

Onto the books I read this month:

Bonfire by Kristen Ritter – I wrote a review on this which you can check out here!

Weird Things Customers Say in Bookshops by Jen Campbell – I read this one because I thought it would be a fun little read!

The Diviners by Libba Bray – This has been on my TBR for about 2 years now and I have only just got to it. Shocking in all honesty, but least I finally read it! And yes, it was fab!

Matilda by Roald Dahl – The film is a favourite of mine but I had never read the book. It’s safe to say that the film expands a whole lot more, meaning that I do prefer the film but I did really enjoy this little story.

The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert – I enjoyed this one. I felt that I dropped off a little at some point but it really began to pick back up. Perfect if you love fairy tales but want darker ones.

The Walking Dead Volume 4 – I’m plodding my way through these graphic novels. I’m a fan of the TV series but have never read the comics, except for the first so I’m finally making a go of things with them now. They’re great for short(ish) reads.

So there’s my November wrap up. How many books did you read this month? Did you have a good or bad reading month?
