Blogmas 2018: Winter TBR

I made an Autumn TBR just before the season started and so I thought I’d do the same again!

Winter starts on the 21st December and finishes March 20th. In that time, I should be able to get (hopefully) a lot of reading done!

As Winter starts on the 21st of December, this list does overlap my December TBR which is why some of the books mentioned on this list also feature there.

Without further ado, here’s my Winter TBR:

  1. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern – I’m hoping to read this one in December so this could be the first one on this list that I tick off as read!
  2. The Toy Maker by Robert Dinsdale I was sent a copy of this and I (shamefully) didn’t have time to get to it. I left it for this Christmas/Winter so I’d like to get to it this season.
  3. The Book Thief by Markus Zuzak – I feel like it’s really about time I read this book. I’ve heard so many great things about it so I don’t know why I haven’t read it yet.
  4. The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon – I am absolutely planning on finishing this one before its release date. I think it will take a while to get through because it is incredibly huge. But, I’m going to see if I can come up with a plan to tackle it!
  5. The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden – This book definitely feels like it’s appropriate for Winter so it had to feature on this list.
  6. The Familiars by Stacey Halls – I received a copy of this at YALC. It features witches and witch trials which I find an interesting part of history.
  7. Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas – I cant believe I haven’t read this yet but I definitely want to read it in Winter so I can finally read Kingdom of Ash and finish the series.
  8. Uprooted by Naomi Novik – I have genuinely wanted to read this for a few years now but I just haven’t got to it. I don’t have an excuse for why I haven’t read it yet tbh.
  9. Dreams of Gods and Monsters by Laini Taylor – This is the last book in the series so I definitely want to complete the series in 2019.
  10. King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo – A new release coming out in Winter, I absolutely want to read this…but then I do really need to read Crooked Kingdom too!

Do you have a TBR for Winter?
