“All I Want For Christmas Is You…” | What book do you want to see under the Christmas Tree?
I know that I am getting Vicious and Vengeful by V. E. Schwab but I’d love to see The Poppy War under the tree. I asked my boyfriend for this one so I’m really hoping I get it! This is the first Christmas that I haven’t asked for loads of books, mostly because I have a very extensive list of books that I need to get through!
“Simply Having A Wonderful Christmas Time…” | What book that you have read this year have you enjoyed the most?
I’ve enjoyed quite a few books this year but I particularly enjoyed Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi. I’d fully recommend that book. It’s a fantasy with plenty of action and it’s quite fast paced.
“It’s Beginning to look a lot like Christmas…” | Which book has the most festive look to it?
Definitely my copy of A Christmas Carol. It is quite chunky and has several Christmas stories in it. I’ll only be reading one this year which is A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, but maybe next year I’ll read another one from it!
Elf | What book unleashes your inner child?
Probably Harry Potter. It’s not that it exactly releases my inner child but it does remind me of being younger as I grew up with the movies and the books. I do actually want to re-read these books in 2019 but we’ll see about that!
The Grinch | Your favourite villain…
I don’t know if I really have a favourite villain. Can I say I don’t have one? I genuinely can’t think of a villain that I like. I think Harry Potter has quite a few villains but I wouldn’t say that any of them are my favourite! The one villain I do hate is Umbridge!
The Holiday | Name your favourite TWO couples…
Ok, obviously Audrey Rose and Thomas Cresswell from Stalking Jack the Ripper. I’d probably also say Lazlo and Sarai from Strange the Dreamer as I’m still reading that one. I’d also say Simon and his partner (not saying because I feel like everyone who hasn’t read this needs to read the big reveal themselves) from Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda. I know that’s three but I’m still deciding between the last two!
What book would you like to give as a present to your followers?
Right now, I’d probably gift Strange the Dreamer as that’s the book I’m currently reading and enjoying! I’d also gift Stalking Jack the Ripper, although that’s not very festive but it is a favourite of mine and I want to push it into as many peoples hands as possible!
