Wrap Ups

February 2020 || Wrap Up

So February wasn’t nearly as good as January in terms of reading. Of the 6 books I wanted to read, I only managed to read three of them and most of a fourth book. I’m a little disappointed by that but I also had an exam at the beginning of very March which I found very difficult because in all honesty, the topic is just not my strong point. So instead of reading books for fun, I spent a lot of time reading my course textbook instead.

In terms of what I did this month, I didn’t do a lot but I did go to the Becky Albertalli and Aisha Saeed signing in Birmingham at the end of the month and I saw some friends, so that was lovely! I’ve never met Becky before so it was really nice to meet her and get the other books I own by her signed!

The amount I read this month was a bit disappointing after I read double the amount in January but I guess that’s what happens when you have modules to study for!

Monthly Reading Total: 3 ||  Total Books Read In 2020: 9/25

Reading Goals for Last Month:

  1. Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare
  2. Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare
  3. Sadie by Courtney Summers
  4. Havenfall by Sara Holland
  5. All Your Twisted Secrets by Diana Urban
  6. Bone Crier’s Moon by Kathryn Purdie

What I Actually Read:

  1. Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare
  2. Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare
  3. Sadie by Courtney Summers

As I mentioned, I knew I wasn’t going to be able to read all of the books on my TBR for February but I was hoping to give it a really good go. Unfortunately, I only managed to read just over half of what was on my TBR (yes, I’m saying just over half because I read the majority of All Your Twisted Secrets in February). Because of that, I decided to move the remaining books on my February TBR onto my March TBR instead.

March TBR:

  1. All Your Twisted Secrets by Diana Urban
  2. Havenfall by Sara Holland
  3. The Love Hypothesis by Laura Steven
  4. Bone Crier’s Moon by Kathryn Purdie
  5. An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson
  6. The Flat Share by Beth O’Leary (Audiobook)

Now that my exam is finally out of the way, I feel like I can read to my hearts content which I definitely will be doing. There are so many books that I want to read between now and the start of my next module in Mid-April so I will definitely be trying to accomplish my goal of reading as much as I can in that time.

What books are on your TBR for March?
